International Women’s Day 2024

A call to action for employers who care about women’s health and wellbeing

International Women’s Day 2024 theme is “Count her In. Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress”.

This means recognising the value and potential of women in all aspects of life, including the workplace. Women with endometriosis often face challenges at work, such as stigma, discrimination, lack of support, and difficulty managing their symptoms. They may need flexible work arrangements, access to medical care, and understanding from their colleagues and managers.

That’s why Endometriosis Australia in partnership with Western Sydney University has launched the world first evidence based EndoAware Workplace accreditation, a program that helps employers create a supportive and inclusive environment for women with endometriosis.

If you want to make a difference for women with endometriosis and help your workplace become more diverse, equitable, and inclusive, you can take action today, click here:

Together, we can make a positive impact for women with endometriosis and celebrate International Women’s Day in a meaningful way. Let’s count her in, invest in her, and accelerate progress for her. Let’s make our workplace EndoAware.
