Board Directors

Our Board Directors (past and present) have spent the last decade building endometriosis awareness in the broader community, creating fundraising programs to fund research and education.

Monica Forlano is the Chair of the Endometriosis Australia Board. Monica Forlano has over 20 years of media industry experience ranging from managing international operations of cable television in Europe to leading broadcast channels and content production departments in Australia.  Her key career achievements are around developing marketing and business transformation plans around media creation and distribution including successful campaigns for major television programs. Monica is currently Head of AFL Studios, the production and in-house creative agency of the Australian Football League.

Donna originally studied Fashion Design/Business, and after battling chronic health conditions, Donna went on to study Holistic Nutrition and Homeopathy. In 2018, Donna was named in the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence and was Blackmore’s Women & Wellness – Change Being for 2019. Donna is a Member of the Federal Steering Committee for the Implementation of the National Action Plan for Endometriosis. She is a Director of Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) and is an Australia Day Ambassador. Donna is currently a higher degree candidate at NICM Health Research Institute, Western Sydney University completing her Masters in Research.

Associate Professor Anusch Yazdani is a subspecialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and an advanced reproductive endosurgeon with a uniquely personal and patient-centred approach. His treatment philosophy focuses on an in-depth understanding of individual circumstance and tailoring a highly specific treatment plan.

Our Clinical Advisory Committee is a group of medical and allied healthcare professionals with extensive expertise in diagnosing or treating endometriosis.

They help keep our organisation up-to-date with current research and best practices and provide helpful collateral such as downloads and blog posts for patients.

Endo Ambassadors

Our Endo Ambassadors are Board-appointed and have a public profile. They generously donate their time and energy to help educate the public and raise awareness of endometriosis.
