Director and Chair, Dr Karen Luxford retires from Endometriosis Australia Board

Endometriosis Australia announced today that Board Chair, Dr Karen Luxford has retired from the Board.

Endometriosis Australia is a nationally accredited charity that endeavours to increase recognition of endometriosis, provide endometriosis education programs, and provide funding for endometriosis research.

Endometriosis Australia is very proud of all the volunteer work that Dr Karen Luxford has done over the past 5 and a half years at the charity as Board Chair. Dr Luxford has been at the helm during some of the greatest changes for those living with endometriosis in recent history.

First joining the Board in 2015, Dr Luxford said: “I wish to thank my fellow directors, staff and all the volunteers who have contributed to the great work over the years. I am confident that Endometriosis Australia will continue to make significant advances for endometriosis into the future.

In announcing her retirement from the Board, the Directors of Endometriosis Australia, said, “We thank Dr Luxford for her leadership and commitment during her time as Chair. We are extremely grateful for all her work over this period and wish her all the best for the future.”
