Nurses Scholarship for Endometriosis

New scholarship to deliver 100 endometriosis nurses to regional, rural and remote areas

  • Endometriosis affects 1 in 7 women by the age of 49, making specialist nursing support crucial—particularly in rural, remote, and regional areas.
  • To address this need, Endometriosis Australia is launching a new scholarship program aimed at funding 100 nurses.
  • In partnership with the Australian College of Nursing Foundation (ACNF), this initiative ensures that those impacted receive the care they deserve.
  • Eligible nurses will complete a 10-week Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain module, equipping them to make a real difference in their communities.
  • Endometriosis Australia, a nationally accredited charity, is dedicated to raising awareness, educating the public, and funding crucial research. While progress has been made—reducing the average diagnosis time from 7–12 years to 6.5 years—there is still much work to be done. Therefore, your support is essential in funding the first intake of nurses.
