Professor Roger Hart

Professor Roger Hart is a graduate of the University of London (MBBS) and completed his specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK in 2002. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynaecology in London in 1998, and was awarded MD from the University of London, then underwent sub specialisation training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, completing the UK certification in 2002.  

After migration to Australia, to take up an academic appointment with the University of Western Australia, he completed the Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) in 2007. Roger is Deputy Head of the Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Professor of Reproductive Medicine at the University of Western Australia, the Medical Director of Fertility Specialists of Western Australia, a private infertility clinic, and the clinical lead for the public infertility service for Western Australia at King Edward Memorial Hospital. He is Chair of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Committee of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), and chair of the research committee of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society (AGES Society).  

Professor Hart has published over 200 publications and lectures nationally and internationally. He has a special interest in polycystic ovary syndrome, infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, assisted reproduction (including IVF), endometriosis and reproductive endocrinology.
