Gemma Hardie is an executive leader with more than 20 years’ experience in the for-purpose sector, bringing deep expertise in fundraising, income development, communications, marketing, people and culture, operations, and finance. She has a track record of transforming organisational culture and improving business processes to create stronger, more sustainable organisations.

A committed advocate for inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplaces, Gemma is passionate about driving systemic change and empowering communities.

Diagnosed with endometriosis at 17, she has navigated the condition throughout her adult life, shaping her belief that everyone—regardless of gender, race, or economic situation—should have access to timely, compassionate, and effective care.

Gemma currently serves as Director of People, Finance and Operations at the International Women’s Development Agency, where she supports women’s rights organisations across Asia and the Pacific and contributes to global feminist movements for gender equality.
