Dr Jane Chalmers (PhD, B.Physio) is a Senior Lecturer in Pain Sciences at the University of South Australia. She is the leader of the pelvic pain theme under the Innovation, Implementation And Clinical Translation in Health (IIMPACT) research concentration at the University of South Australia.

Ash Ricardo is currently in production on the second season of the popular Seven Network series RFDS. She will next be seen in Robert Connolly’s highly anticipated sequel Force of Nature: The Dry 2 with Eric Bana.

Her additional television credits include the Netflix series Clickbait, Bite Club for the Nine Network, Offspring, Party Tricks, Old School, Home and Away, Kevin Carlin’s telemovie Molly, Tricky Business, Mary: The Making of a Princess, Rescue: Special Ops and Packed to the Rafters.

Her feature film credits include Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok, Enzo Tedeschi’s directed thriller Event Zero and Wayne Hope’s Now Add Honey, which had its world premiere at the 2015 Bentonville Film Festival.

Ash has appeared in numerous theatre productions including Noises Off, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Gallipoli and All Star Cabaret for the Sydney Theatre Company; Between Two Waves for the Griffin Theatre; That Face for the Queensland Theatre Company; The Pigeons for Griffin Independent Theatre; Sprout for the Old Fitz Theatre.

Ash graduated from NIDA in 2008.
