Mike Armour, PhD, BHSc BSc (Hons) Senior Research Fellow | Higher Degree Research Coordinator. Dr Mike is a senior research fellow in Women’s Health at NICM Health Research Institute and the Translational Health Research Institute at Western Sydney University.

Jess Cunningham, Physiotherapist

Jess is an APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist and APA Titled Women’s, Men’s & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. She has worked extensively in elite and professional sports settings throughout her career, as well as in private practice.

She is the co-founder of Optima Female Performance, through which she consults with sporting teams, athletes, and their support networks on all things relating to pelvic health and performance. She has a clinical interest in the holistic management of persistent pelvic pain and endometriosis, and the relationship between floor dysfunction and lumbopelvic and hip/groin pain.

Jess is passionate about educating and empowering women and girls of all ages (and their support teams) to better understand endometriosis, and is a strong advocate for women’s health in sport.
