Volunteer opportunities in 2026
Every story matters – including yours.
As we step into a new year, Endometriosis Australia is reigniting our advocacy work and rebuilding the volunteer community that makes everything we do possible. If you’re living with endometriosis or supporting someone who is, we’d love you to join us at events across Australia in 2026.
From Parliament House in February to major sporting and community events in Perth, Sydney and Gold Coast in March – with more to come – volunteers help us share educational resources, welcome donations, grow our community database, and spark real conversations about lived experience. It’s meaningful work, but it’s also fun: connecting with people, raising awareness, and showing the country what 1 million Australians with endo deserve.
If your New Year’s resolution is to give back, lift others up, or help rewrite the endometriosis story, this is your moment. Sign up to volunteer and stand with the organisation advocating for all Australians living with endometriosis.
Together, we’re changing the story – one conversation at a time.

Q: I’ve never volunteered before. Is that okay?
A: Yes! We’ll provide comprehensive training. No previous experience required.
Q: I’m under 18. Can I volunteer?
A: Volunteers aged 16-17 can participate with parental/guardian consent. We particularly welcome young volunteers who can connect with adolescent attendees.
Q: Can I bring a friend/family member?
A: Yes! Encourage them to apply too. Volunteering with friends makes it even more fun.
Q: What if I have a disability or accessibility needs?
A: Please let us know in your application, and we’ll work with you to ensure you can participate comfortably. Venues are accessible.
Q: Will I need a Working with Children Check?
A: Not required for this volunteer role, as you’ll be engaging with adults and families (not supervising children).
Q: What should I wear?
A: We’ll provide an Endometriosis Australia volunteer t-shirt. Please wear comfortable pants/skirt and closed-toe shoes suitable for standing.
