Kara Scott
VIC
Kara Scott is a 25-year-old content creator, podcast host, and Social Media Manager based in Melbourne.
Kara began experiencing painful periods and sharp, debilitating flare-ups at just 15 years old. In August 2023, she was diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis, which was found in three areas of her body and surgically removed. For years, endometriosis impacted every part of her life, from missing social events to calling in sick and managing unpredictable, overwhelming pain.
Since surgery, Kara has seen a significant improvement both physically and mentally. Cutting out alcohol, one of her biggest triggers, has helped her regain control, and while she still experiences mild flares, life feels far more manageable.
Working in a social media agency is fast-paced and exciting, and Kara loves what she does, refusing to let endometriosis get in the way of showing up for her career.
As an Endo Champion, she uses her platform to share her endometriosis journey with honesty and vulnerability, helping women across Australia feel seen, supported, and empowered to seek help. Kara also shared her story on her podcast to raise awareness and open up deeper conversations around endometriosis.
Earlier this year, she partnered with Kat the Label for their major endometriosis campaign, bringing significant attention to her platform and helping spark more conversations nationwide.
Kara’s mission is to ensure women feel heard, educated, and seen. Through her honesty, advocacy, and storytelling, she hopes to empower others to trust their bodies, push for answers, and know they are never alone.
